What Blockito does

Blockito is a browser extension that blocks distracting websites. You choose which sites, keywords, or categories to block, and the extension redirects those pages to a built-in block screen.

Data we store

All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This includes:

• Your block list (sites, keywords, categories)
• Your allowed sites list
• Your settings (theme, block page message, schedule, focus mode preferences)
• Block statistics (daily block counts and streak data)
• A SHA-256 hash of your password if you enable password lock
• Your premium status

None of this data is sent to external servers, collected by us, or shared with anyone.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your browsing history
• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Cookies or tracking data
• Analytics or usage data
• IP addresses
• Any data from the pages you visit

Third party services

Blockito uses ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) to handle premium subscriptions. When you choose to upgrade to Blockito Pro, ExtensionPay processes your payment. ExtensionPay may collect your email address and payment information as part of that transaction.

We do not have access to your payment details. We only receive a confirmation of whether your subscription is active.

Permissions

Blockito requests the following browser permissions:

• Access to all URLs: required to redirect blocked websites to the block page. Without this, blocking rules do not work.
• declarativeNetRequest: used to create the redirect rules that block websites.
• storage: used to save your settings and block list locally.
• activeTab and tabs: used to detect the current website so you can block it with one click.
• alarms: used to manage timers for focus mode, pause, nuclear mode, and schedule checks.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new “last updated” date.
